Perhaps the biggest pile of shit I've ever read on here

It was a bad game for the whole team, get over it.

He's been our best player all season.

And in the words of the great Bananarama that's really saying something!

He gives the ball away too much.

Prove that statement wrong.

He does give the ball away too much but, on the other hand, he is currently our main player when we are looking to create something which always brings with it more risk of losing the ball.

Obviously, that doesn't excuse his performance yesterday. That was shit

@Steero113 this is how you have a reasoned debate. Instead of getting triggered when someone calls out your favourite player.

Been probably the player of the season so far. Yesterday was by far the most individual performance of the season.

Lost count of how many times under no pressure he gave the ball away leading to a counter attack.

When we don't have the ball in tough games he has a very bad trait of when finally receiving it....trying a really really really stupid difficult pass.

It's a problem throughout our side. We don't have a single consistent, high volume passer, we have a collection of high risk, low volume passers, who largely prefer to attempt to switch play quickly or hit it over the top when they can't turn and carry. We desperately need that skilled, stable recycler 6 or 8 to keep the ball and work it to create instead of trying to play 200 mph fast break stuff 24/7 (which worked ok when we had a guy they could just blast anything at and he could control it, papered over the weakness somewhat... until he was injured), and, importantly, to reduce the number of times the ball just comes straight back at us.

We don't have  a low risk, high volume passer because we purposely play in a way that doesn't utilize a low risk, high volume passer. Instead, we keep trying to rush the  ball up the field whether it's through aimless long balls from Mings or Martinez of through our midfielders such as Mcginn rushing the ball up the pitch to our attackers. I'm sure Luiz has the passing ability to play that water carrier role if the management really wanted him to do it.

VT crammed full of reactionary crap every time we play badly.

Prove that wrong Thomas Aquinas.

I think 'prove that wrong Thomas Aquinas' is probably the best clap-back I've ever read on this forum, bravo :D

He needs to be dropped so he can earn his place back. You can't play that badly and just get away with it when there are other players waiting for a chance, it's just not fair on them.

You think we should drop all 10 players apart from martinez then?

Depends on the options available to us. If we haven't got the luxury or the option is demonstrably worse, then there's not much point.

Your reasons for dropping mcginn were because he was awful against arsenal. Just desperately trying to find some logic to your posts

I've highlighted the pertinent parts so you can join the dots there, GC.

You've totally disregarded the former part of the conversation, where you singled out mcginn to be dropped for his poor performance, rather than the rest of the players who played that night, but ok 👍
