We could do a lot worse than Jacob Johansson from AEK Athens. Swedish international DCM who is also calm and comfortable with the ball, always does the job and was POTM last night when Sweden beat France. 26 y.o and only has 1 year left on his contract with AEK. Anybody know if he is any good or is he a poor mans Bacuna With regards to Whelan I'd be all for his signing if we didn't already have Jedinak. Too ageing DM on huge wages just smacks of bad business. I thought we were supposed to be rebuilding the club anew not repeating past mistakes of over paying for players on their way down. The problem is that his legs have gone and he doesn't cover as much grass as he used to. But I don't think it will matter that much in the Championship .
