Can only think of one option for the role of modfielder, Paul Weller

Hmm. Unfortunately Weller is 58 now so probably past it for a professional football career.... Which leaves us in a bit of a Jam

I'd give a 58 year old Weller a START over Westwood any day!

It would certainly make headlines that's for sure. You could read all about it in the news of the world.

I agree

I also think you will find he is adopting a style to :

  • give himself some breathing space, to change things, but win points at the same time.
  • Stop the rot of conceding late on or after we have scored
  • re-ignite the fan base
  • To return confidence to the players & staff.
  • To get the team fit.
  • allow individual players to recover their form, without duress.

Agree 100%

He could well change and play more entertaining football, when he feels we are ready.

Hmm, I think we'll have to wait till our 2nd season in PL for this.

I think Dr T made it clear that 50+mill spent means, Get us promoted asap. Bruce knows how its done and will get us to the playoffs. From there its 50/50.

If it takes another year to get us up Bruce will stick to his ways.

He'll also be wary of coming straight back down (our current squad would not survive in PL imho) so Dr T will have to spend again.

Getting us to play a type of football to compete with the likes of Soto & Everton will take us a good 2 years in PL

For Europa L or Champ L we have to them be 6th/4th out of

ManU ManC Chelsea Arsenal Spurs & Liverpool

just take a lot at their managers pedigree (let along squad quality) Bruce will get us up - keep us up - but wont get within a whiff of Pep Jose Wenger Klopp Poch and whoever Abromivich appoints

Another win, long may that continue and I hope more wins affords him the opportunity to alter our style of play in due course

From your previous posts to now, you, Sir, are a gentleman. Respect.
