Wainy316
A manager that actually knows what he's doing! It's amazing how hard to come by they are.

alreadyexists Posted October 22, 2016 VT Supporter Share Posted October 22, 2016 (edited) I am growing to bloody love that man. I really hope that he can stay here for at least several years and really build something here. Is he our most experienced manager since Houllier...? Must be mustn't he? Popular Post The Moustache of Teale
Well it's early days but already Bruce is beginning to turn this previously rudderless ship around. You build from the back and already he's eliminated that inevitable late collapse, the Gollini clanger, the midfield being completely overrun each game. I hope that the doubters will cut him a bit of slack now - he's made as good a start as any of us could have wished for.
Popular Post Ingram85
I wanted him here, he's doing well so far, sensible and common sense approach. Cautious and early days yet but just enjoying the here and now for once as a villa fan! Cheers Steve.

Popular Post TrentVilla Posted October 22, 2016 Moderator Popular Post Share Posted October 22, 2016 Pick up a point next Sunday then head into a relatively kind home game against Blackburn. What a difference a couple of weeks could make, I only wish they had acted sooner as it was clear from the Brentford game that change was needed.
dudevillaisnice
Hopefully we can be in or around the playoff places heading into the winter transfer window. If he can manage to do that we can strengthen the midfield and hopefully make a real push the second half of the season. So far so good, just need to keep the points rolling in steadily and maintain pace with the teams in or around the top. Echo the above, shame we started so poor this season really. villarule123 Posted October 22, 2016 VT Supporter Share Posted October 22, 2016 I know someone who has recently been appointed as our Sports Psychologist, just after RDM left. Seems to be having just as much of an impact as Bruce is!
TrentVilla Posted October 22, 2016 Moderator Share Posted October 22, 2016 Most impressive thing for me is that we've played three games and conceded only twice, both penalties.

Genie
Chuffed to bits, what a fortnight. Of course it won't be like this every week but so happy right now.

So pleased at the win today, not felt that buzz for a long time, made me remember why I love football.
Woodytom
7 points from 9. Seems to have turned it around so no complaints from me. One slight concern is, the lack of possession. I know the most important stat is the goal but I don't believe we can continue to win with 30ish % possession at home.
