It's Your Round Posted August 25, 2016 Share Posted August 25, 2016 A useful player for us this season, couldn't quite cut it in the premier league but we can use him in the championship it seems. We would have had the same effect if we just replaced him with a 6 foot pole and tried to rebound off that. However, I believe there is a good player in there somewhere, its just a matter of breaking him out. While he is out, I could lend him an anatomy and physiology textbook, so he can read up on feet and how to use them. Wish him the best, and a good recovery. He clearly is a very effective striker at this level when teams play to his strengths. Maybe not Premier League quality but hard to judge last year as we didn't play to his strengths (we didn't play to anyone's strengths to be fair!) He's one of the best headers of the ball in the English leagues but he needs the service. He will take his rightful place on the bench now we have Kodjia. Don't get me wrong, Gestede will contribute this season but in my mind he's a very limited and ultimately poor player.
