If Bacuna gets a run at RB instead of Hutton we may even see a couple of chances being created. Anything's possible. It's not nice to tease people like that you know.
PompeyVillan
He's poor going forward, but defensively sound. As an added bonus he's big and quick. He did okay today, but wasted the ball a few times in the final third, as you would expect from a player at the bottom of the league.

He actually put in one good cross from what I remembered he wasnt brilliant but was much better than Richardson but dont think he solution to our problems
matrim
Was poor for their third goal. First letting the ball go past him then not tracking the runner after the throw. Before that I thought he was having a decent game.

Cissokho just has to be a placeholder for a few months.

Saturday was ok from him, especially considering how little football he's played recently.
KSV
yeah thought he did well and added some physicality to the left side of the back four.

The fact he thought that starting Richardson ahead of Cissokho and Amavi was a good idea tells you everything you need to know about his judgement of player talent. sexbelowsound
Makes you wonder why he was sent away to the naughty step.
Stevo985 Posted January 12, 2016 VT Supporter Share Posted January 12, 2016 Come on, it's obvious why Cissokho was sent away. We signed Amavi, didn't need three left backs, but nobody wanted Richardson so Cissokho got the chop. Wrong decision, but I can see why it was made. He was solid tonight. Loads of energy right up to the end, which is fantastic considering the amount of football he's played lately.

samjp26
Think if anybody is going to get the best out of him, it is Garde. Sort of a blessing in disguise to be honest as it is like we got a new signing bringing him back into the fold.
dont_do_it_doug.
Fantastic performance. Absolute unit and have a decent showing going forward too. If it wasn't for Ayew he'd be my MOTM also.
VillaChris
His crossing was excellent tonight, a nice surprise considering he was slicing them into Row F last season. Good to have him back anyway, our defensive unit is starting to look better.
