Raver50032
He must have being doing something right on Saturday because I noticed him enough to call him 'Peter' as I cheered for him. 'Go on Peter...' Did you see what I did there??? Was sorry for him that his big goal chance didn't go in. Still, you have to be in those positions to actually score, so maybe next time. Go on lad. Popular Post Stevo985 Posted February 27, 2017 VT Supporter Popular Post Share Posted February 27, 2017 (edited) Unsurprisingly, the guys next to me in K7 hate his guts. Like properly hate him. "**** do something you lazy prick!" "I **** hate that word removed" Seriously, why do these guys bother coming to the games? dont_do_it_doug.
Big big fan here. With some players you wonder whether they are going to make it, they might have the talent but perhaps not the application, and you're left judging them on potential. Green to me just looks like he has 'it'. Natural winger, pace to burn, a few little tricks and as what is distinctly noticeable is his desire to get into the box. It wasn't his best on Saturday, but I am always left wanting to see more.

There's a decent amount of Upper Holte Villa fans that're like the Black Mirror version of a football fan.

Its times like that you would like to be sitting next to "Rory Graham".......for him to lift his 6'7" frame and say " He's only Human after all, put the blame on me" Edited February 27, 2017 by TRO
Farlz
He's been close to scoring now in a few games this season, just a shame they all seem to end up on his head. I'm a big fan of his also, I'm hoping he'll get a good run of games.

Lichfield Dean Posted February 28, 2017 VT Supporter Share Posted February 28, 2017 Really impressed today. Nearly scored a worldly and was a terror all game. Shame he got injured, but it was great to hear the Holte singing his name as hobbled off. If he keeps improving at this rate he'll be a real star in the future.
mikeyp102
Very good today, so unlucky with that great shot. Linked up well with Taylor and Conor, looks like a good left side starting to build.
Farlz
Was just superb today, he's so direct and brilliant with the ball at his feet. Gutted he hit the crossbar again. Really hope his injury isn't too bad as we'll miss him in the side.
Harry
'One of our own' says the Holte end and I agree. Really excellent tonight.
Guest av1
I'm at work tonight so couldn't go to the game. Delighted to hear he played well though as i thought he was pretty anonymous against Derby. Thats not necessarily a criticism, he's a young boy with limited experience so a bit of inconsistently is to be expected. Hopefully his injuryis minor. kurtsimonw
MotM for me. Derby seemed to control him quite well, but even with 2/3 players on him today they didn't really know what to do with him. Keep it up.
NottingVilla
Hasn't been hyped up to shit which helps. Guess that will change now. He's very unvillalike, which is the best possible compliment he can receive.
terrytini
Echo all that plus, I hope Jack is watching closely how he is seizing both his chance and, when he can, the game. It might be the spur Jack needs to offer more when he plays.

PieFacE Posted February 28, 2017 VT Supporter Share Posted February 28, 2017 Nice to have a winger who stays wide. A bit of natural width has been lacking in recent years. Seems to be getting better with every game.
