And Green doesn't go to ground ever 5 minutes.

but Grealish is only young too and much time to prove his worth......but he now has competition.

I didn't realise Green was only 18 either!!!!

Bruce says his injury doesn't look good.

Do we EVER get a good run of performances from our players without injuries or suspensions to mess with their and our momentum ffs?!

Villa i tell ya.

That's not good :( but at least it might open the door for Grealish? Have you got a link?

Green not going to ground all the time is surely a positive for Grealish, no? Being one of the most fouled players in the league is a massive, massive compliment.

Green is far more aggressive in his use of the ball than Grealish - he either passes it fairly quickly - or runs at the defender.

Grealish beats a man - then passes the ball backwards from where he was in the first place.

If he has the right attitude, this kid could be something.

I like his build too.....looks durable as well as talented.....its just learning his trade now, but i think its time he learn't it in the first team.....He has shown Steve Bruce enough, to TRUST him.

It is....but you have to learn to deal with it.

I have seen many players with Jacks talent.....you have to apply it.

Waddle, Heighway,Hutchinson,Daley,Morley,.....you could go on and on.

If you can't apply it(talent) it is worthless.....He has much work to do on that.

However, the team playing better may help him find space.

He does tend to struggle in confined space.....thats what he needs to work on and his decision making.

Can we please not call him Greenade.

In the true tradition of Villa Talk from now on I intend to call him Grean.

Bruce just said he's going to be out for a month :(

Was just starting to look a good player, guess there's no option but to bring Grealish back in now, he's running out of chances - time to start performing.

Get well soon Green

Typical, I seriously don't get why our luck with these things are so horrendous!

Green has the best game of his Villa Career, gets injured for a month.

Bacuna has a great game then gets suspended for 6 games.

Sign an experienced RB, finally sorting a probably area, he is out for the season.

Gabby has his best game in years then gets injured.

Hogan comes with mass potential then gets a long term injury.

I am sure the list goes on, we seriously have the voodoos against us!

I have watched about 4-5 his matches.

He is really good with the ball, especially the rhythm of ball control.

My micro-criticism to him is that he needs to improve his off-ball running, particular in the space between full and centre backs.

Oh, well, he is only 18....
