Definitely not. As Hanoi says it makes no sense. All the value and income in a club comes from the PL. The club is worth more to sell as a PL club, the income is massively higher from all the TV money. His aim has been to stay in the prem and spend as little as possible in doing that. It still looks like that is the plan. Aiming for relegation is not the plan, though you're right that the possibility / risk is there. Bruce is a "safe" cautious choice. He's not a winner, he's not for playing entertaining football as an ethos.
