ismail-villa
Don't know why but I have the feeling Okore will play some part in this match...
villan-scott Posted September 27, 2014 VT Supporter Share Posted September 27, 2014 I'd rather have him play today ahead of Baker and Clark. Although Baker could do a job getting stuck into the Beast Costa.
Kingman
IMO if he is in the same boat as Sanchez and simply "just not ready" then they should not be starting. With Chelsea and Man City round the corner heavy defeats are a strong possibility and will only contribute further towards any confidence issues.
AValon
Personally can't wait for this kid to become a regular in the first team. I have high hopes for him.

He's not in the same boat as Sanchez though as he proved in the first few games last season that he was ready. Sanchez is still yet to prove that - in a Villa shirt at least. villan-scott Posted September 27, 2014 VT Supporter Share Posted September 27, 2014 Not even in the squad today. Disappointing really, want him back in the fray, a step above Baker and Clark IMO.

The Fun Factory
Has Lambert taken a dislike of Denmark? First Helenius and now Okore frozen out!
VillaChris
Disappointing we lost to Orient as I'd have started him in the Carling Cup given Clark and Baker are getting found out now we're playing decent games.
jayEm
Has Lambert taken a dislike of Denmark? First Helenius and now Okore frozen out! Yeah well we've learnt this week that Helenius had some personal issues behind the scenes.

Guest
We should be happy we don't have to rush him into the team. We are in a good position where have have good numbers for the defence, so we can take our time with Okore. Why bring him back at 60/70% when we can wait till he is 100% ready? It's not like we are being forced to play Herd at the back. And Baker has done well since he came in for Vlaar. No rush... Paul33
Okore could be VERY good for us but he was spectacularly unfit pre-season ..... looked like a pub footballer so must have quite a way to go yet.

Kingman
Time to step up lad now big Phils out for 3-4 weeks and no news on Ron either. Clarke and Baker to the rescue?
pooligan
Just our bad luck to lose Senderos to injury when he was playing well for us. Fingers crossed that Vlarr is fit enough to return next weekend, the thought of Clark and Baker together scares the hell out of me
