He has always been behind Baker and Clark. Obviously his injury didn't help, but there hasn't been a single game during his time at Villa when he's been played ahead of Vlaar, Baker, Clark, and this season - Senderos when those have been healthy. He started against Liverpool and Newcastle before he **** his knee, so that is wrong. We signed him and our first games where at Arsenal and Chelsea and he was never going to be chucked in there. He will feature for us in the coming months, he will be a good player for us. I have no doubts. Lambert just needs to stop protecting him and chuck him in. Then against Chelsea Baker was injured and Okore was subbed in. Okore was injured iirc, so he came into the team as quickly as he could, the manager obviously rates him highly I don't get it, Lambert brings Benteke back pretty much straight away after his injury.
