He probably has been told to shoot, and probably shoots a lot better in training. These skied shots are nerves. However, he does seem to have a one dimensional game at present. We need him to link up with other players better.

Utterly putrid display today, underpinned by that disgusting shot he took from the edge of the box in the second half, when Helenius was free to his right hand side could have been slipped in for a clear shot.

At the end of the day he tried but his awareness and decision making was woefully short of what's required, essentially he needs to grow a brain. Lot's to learn.

I think he will learn a lot from today. They'll sit him down and watch the match, highlighting the better options he could have taken.

Hopefully, it is almost as if he doesn't want to or know how to pass the ball, especially in key situations. Then, if he does mess up, he doesn't seem to eager to chase down his mistake. It wasn't just poor shots either there were poor passes, a clear lack of concentration.

He may want to impress but being ball greedy or trying to be superman isn't going to impress anybody, especially when we have such a "for the team" mentality.

I want to see him run at defenders and get out wide, surely he can cross?
