Genie
It was pretty **** cringe worthy that for sure, I think the FA do need to act in some way to make sure it doesn't start happening at all levels though. Needs to be nipped in the bud.
Davkaus
I thought it was shit enough without it being Terry's idea. I bet he throws his own surprise birthday parties, the prick.
mikeyp102
So how long before Terry is managing somewhere. Think he's got a lot more about him than the likes of Giggs, Neville etc, and afterall everyone said it was he who managed Chelsea when RDM was there

sne
Could be a potentially very costly Instagram post by young Kenedy . Quote Chinese fans furious at Chelsea player's insulting posts By Shen Ke | 13:48 UTC+8 July 23, 2017 | ONLINE EDITION CHINESE fans are furious at Chelsea’s Brazilian defender Kenedy who posted controversial Instagram posts during the team’s pre-season tour game with Arsenal in Beijing yesterday. One post was captioned 'Porra China'. In Portuguese, 'porra' is similar in meaning to the 'F' word. The other post shows a sleeping Chinese security guard with the caption: 'Acorda china [sic]. Vacilão, which roughly translates as 'wake up China, idiot'. The posts soon angered Chinese soccer fans and netizens. Many demanded the club and the player apologize. Kenedy later responded on Instagram, denying any racist intent. "Hello my friends, just wanna say sorry if someone was sad because I used the expression “porra”, was no racism, just an expression…big hug," the player posted. Chelsea also issued a bilingual statement on its official Weibo account last night, stating that the club “is very sorry for the social media messages posted by Kenedy.” “This behaviour fell well below the very high standards we expect of our players. Kenedy regrets the posts and any upset they have caused and has apologized,” the club said. “Everyone at Chelsea Football Club has the utmost respect for the Chinese people, who have been the most incredible hosts and we are extremely grateful for their hospitality,” it said. Thousands of netizens replied under the Weibo post, demanding a more sincere apology. “As a fan of Chelsea, I think the statement is too perfunctory. And there’s no actual punishment…” one netizen replied. “Please tell him (Kenedy) to apologize sincerely and then get out of China,” another insisted. During the match against Arsenal, fans could clearly be heard booing the Brazilian player when his name was announced ahead of the game, and every time he came into play with the ball. Later, Kenedy posted a second statement on Instagram in Chinese and Portuguese, asking for forgiveness from the Chinese people. “I’d like to apologize again here. My offending Chinese people was not intentional. I like China very much and feel grateful for the Chinese people’s warm hospitality. I thank you for your support and hope you can forgive me. I hereby sincerely apologize,” the post said. http://www.shanghaidaily.com/sports/soccer/Chinese-fans-furious-at-Chelsea-players-insulting-posts/shdaily.shtml There is talk about Chelsea being banned in China now. Ooops. Obviously won't come to that, perhaps just an public booting like they do in Australia? Or so I've learned from The Simpsons. rodders0223
If it's true that he posted a picture of a Chinese security guard asleep with the captions "**** China" and "Wake up China" then the world has gone mental.

Was in Portuguese - the first one was a picture of himself with "**** China" (porra China) and the second one was a sleeping security guard saying something like "wake up China, you idiot". It's all very weird.

sne
Gary Cahill is clattering people left and right. 100% committed in every challenge but waving his elbows around and way too reckless. I like him but if it's the way he's going to play he's going to injure loads of players and himself. He's also going to pick up cards every game. Not sure but I get the feeling he's trying to fill the void left behind after Terry.

a m ole
Silly mind games from Chelsea that backfired. I refuse to believe that Courtois is in the top 5 penalty takers of those on the pitch at the end. Can Fabregas, Moses, Musonda, Luiz really not take them? VillaChris
Luiz took one in the champions league final, no way would Courtois have taken one if it was FA cup final. Don't think the game told us much.

Dr_Pangloss
Fairly brainless from Conte to allow his keeper to take a pen, regardless of the occasion, could not imagine SAF ever allowing that.
