But on the other hand, maybe it just isn't. We know that 'late bloomers' are a thing (eg Jamie Vardy), so why isn't it possible (even perhaps likely or logically necessary) that some players will just be the opposite, that they'll be really good for a few years and then just fall off? Wolves were just happy to play for 1-1 for whole of second half. 94th minute and they string two passes together and suddenly have a 4 on 1 break with Adama eventually getting the cross out. Everton got what they deserved, a few seconds before the goal they had Wolves pinned back in their half and, even though there were just seconds on the clock, just shuttling it pointlessly side-to-side.
