DelboyVilla
holy sh*t so from being put in the bomb squad by villa, totally derided by fans, shipped around on loan to whoever would take him... then comes back into the team, plays well in 4 games, given a 3-year contract, and loved by the fans. WTF! Only at the Villa!

jonno_2004
Really surprised he signed another deal, but hopefully his form will stay at its current level and it will prove to be very worthwhile business.

Danwichmann
Had a good laugh when I saw this. 2 years waiting for his contract to run out, then a few games back in the team and now a new deal. Only at Aston Villa. Fair play to him, can't have been easy being frozen out, or coming back in after 2 years. He's seized his chance and been a proper pro. Nothing really surprises me with the club under Randy now.
VillanousOne
what is he on presently? Someone said 35k? And that was enough to bomb him out. it would be hypocrisy of the highest level if he was paif that again for an extra three years glad he is staying though

daggy_333
Must be on lower pay? We tried to get rid of his wages for 2 years....surely we're not stupid enough to give him 3 more years on the same money?

juteface
Fair play, has shown he's a model pro and I get the feeling the loan spell in Spain done wonders for him. We could do with more players with his attitude at the club, many would reject a contract after the treatment he's had.

TrentVilla Posted September 16, 2014 Moderator Share Posted September 16, 2014 As I posted following the news on Gabby, its good to see the club acting like a football club and protecting its assets. We could have lost both Gabby and Hutton on free's along with other players this summer, now we've got them secured. Excellent news and not the last I'm sure.
JohnStortford
Surely this is down to Tom Fox? Let's hope Hutton wasn't just playing well for a new deal.. would be a massive fuckup if this is the way he's decided to exact his revenge
TrentVilla Posted September 16, 2014 Moderator Share Posted September 16, 2014 If there is one thing you have to say for Hutton these last few years, he has conducted himself like a true professional.
The_Steve
Good for Hutton. Given a clean slate and took full advantage. Sensible business from the club.
