I don't. Love Emery all he likes nobody is turning down Tuchel and Bayern for Villa.

Maybe, maybe not.  Loves Emery, loves PL, that could be enough to sway him from Tuchel and Bayern.  I don’t think the Tuchel/Bayern is as big of a pull as some do…I think the PL is a far bigger pull for many players…so then it’s Bayern/Tuchel/CL over Villa/Emery/PL…I think it’s a close choice for Torres based on what I read about Torres’ connection with Emery and his desire to play in the PL.  I’d be more concerned with competition from other PL teams especially CL teams than Bayern/Tuchel imo given what I’ve read about Torres.

Torres is also still young enough that he could get move her then in a few years move onto an elite club.

Emery wants 2 left footers

For us older members who grew up in a period when that meant something, erm, non-football related , just don't go there 🤣

Someone get that Kenneth gif up for me.

Whose also wanted by United to replace Maguire or by City if they don't get Gvardiol,  United could also go back for and wind up with Jurrien Timber whose also targeted by Arsenal.

Its quite a merry go round amongst top clubs for a CB, suppose we're in a position where we can hopefully get through the year without buying one and Carlos hopefully surprises a few with a speedy return to his top form when called upon.

It may not be entirely unrealistic to see all of these move without us able to get in on it at all. Hernandez (PSG), Pau Torres (Bayern), Min Jae (United), Timber (Arsenal).

Hopefully City get Gvardiol sorted soon and Bayern beat United to Kim Min Jae, leaving us hopefully with a quick window to sort Pau Torres out to Villa before somebody like United realise he'd be great for them too

Or none of it is real... Silly season

How can you be so certain?

Stranger things have happened in football.

Not everyone is excited by the prospect of joining a 1 - 2 horse League either.

The money and prestige is in the Premier League.

I reckon some people think the appeal of Bayern is in lines with the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona, PSG etc.

It isn't at all imo

This torres rumour is most likely BS. Pretty much all our transfers go under the radar of the media, while this has been regularly recurring since January. It's most likely the club or agent 'leaking' these stories to get interest in the player.

It doesn't even make much sense as Konsa & Mings are in the form of their lives, we have 30m Diego Carlos sitting on the bench and decent cover outside of that with Chambers, Dendonker and Kamara all being able to play at CB.

We will have more games next season.

Rotation required + now that we have a manager who can deploy different tactics, different players are required.

And also worth mentioning every player on this team can be upgraded.

I frequently see posts about how players don't fit into our best 11 and that may be the case but they aren't bought for 1 match.

Bayern are quite clearly a bigger pull than us, but I’m not having Tuchel being a bigger pull than Emery.

astounded by the figures being chucked about for a player in his final year of his contract. i know he's a big 'name' but is he worth it? bearing in mind CB is one position where we're already in good shape.

I genuinely have no idea if Sofascore is a credible source of data.....but he is not rated much above Mings and Konsa.....does that mean anything?

Or does he offer and alternative playing style that UE is looking for?

Playing for Bayern is a bigger pull than playing in Premier League. Top 5 biggest clubs in the world and players rarely turn them down

Bayern are Man Utd size of club. Guaranteed silverware and  Champions League knockout stages. They have won about 50 trophies since the last time we won something. He would be mental to turn them down .
