Not only did Emery negate Newcastle through our shape , he also enabled us to cut through them at will. The man is on a different level  to any manager we have had before tactically.

That’s our best performance in a long, long time. It’s all coming together now, and I’m not sure anyone can stop this beast. So many outstanding performances today, Watkins obvs, McGinn, Moreno, JJ, Buendia, we are a real solid team that play for each other and clearly love each other. Just see Youngy celebrating with Traore at full time, and how much Carlos is loving it even though he’s not playing.

Simply wow !!  Most accomplished performance of the season ,every player was excellent,Watkins my God was unplayable, Newcastle were lucky it was only 3 . Keep dreaming, keep believing, Villa are definitely back .

I don't think I've ever seen a Villa team play like that as long as I've been following. You know playing like the top clubs do that you wish Villa would play like

Our most complete performance under Emery so far.  We absolutely battered a top side and looked like we could still turn it up a gear.

The players are believing, the tactics/system is starting to become second nature to the team, and Villa Park is rocking.  Europe looks like it's a real possibility now.  

So many good performances all around.  Mings/Konsa were unstoppable at the back, Moreno was so good in defense and marauding down the left in attack, Ashley Young looking like he's 25 again, Dougie and Donk passing/tackling the Newcastle midfield off the pitch, Buendia & McGinn pulling all the strings out there, and JJ/Ollie clinical in front of goal.  Ollie has to be the MOM for me, though.  He's so good in this system.
