that's a great header from Ollie

I thought he completely misread it and got a bit lucky, didn't mean to play it in off the floor surely?

Either way, great cross and it's getting on the end of it that counts

Seriously I don't want to seem like I'm after blood.

Ramsey may as well be playing for West Ham these first 15 minutes.

Yeah, I was a little frustrated too, but Moreno doesn't get the space to make the cross for the goal if JJ didn't make that run into the channel to pull the fullback off him.  He seems to be finding the space to run with the ball now after a slow start.

I think every header I've seen Watkins do (or care to remember to) has been into the ground.  It's clearly something he does/works on.

Fair enough, maybe I was being too uncharitable

Newcastle have 2 games in hand but we are within 4 points of them.

If you had told me in October that we would get within 4 points of Newcastle by the end of the season, I would have called you a doctor.

Tony Gale: "West Ham have had more of the ball, Villa haven't had any of it".

Villa have had 60% of the possession....

He was absolutely sick when villa scored. I really hope we win now.

He gets some great top spin on the ball when he heads it down. It's a hard technique but very effective if done right.
