CVByrne
Already three goals conceded so with Olsen in goals. At least the Spurs team isn't as good as it could have been
JAMAICAN-VILLAN
Another train of realistic thought lads. Fact is, Olsen is our keeper regardless. The only way he will get better is with confidence and games. There is no way he became a number 1 for his country by being absolute " shite ". Obviously he is no Emi but still.
It's Your Round
Oh dear, I really hoped Martinez would be ready for this. I don’t have any confidence in our defence with Olsen in goal. It’s not a great look to see Romero and Loris starting for Spurs, they’re okay but Emi isn’t.

ferguson1
Perhaps also a vote of confidence from Emery with keeping Olsen in goal? Might just help Olsen.
Pinebro
Emery pushing Emi out? There is no way shouldn't play today if he is fit to play
CLARETANDBLUEFOXY
Why exactly is Emi not ready? He’s had two weeks enjoying time with his family after winning the World Cup. If he’s not injured, what exactly is stopping him being ready? 2
holteend1982
I am gutted olsen starts, feels like the game is lost already.
AshVilla
Emi is going to get panned if we spanked here. Deservedly so tbh, considering Romero and Lloris both start for Spurs. If they can start why can't he? Edited January 1, 2023 by AshVilla

StefanAVFC
We’ll need to score 4 today to win because we don’t concede less than 3 when Olsen plays

He really should be able to do a job in goal today , the fact he has been deemed unable is really poor. Especially when outfield players who played in that final are raring to go.

Let's not forget that we have a manager who actually understands football. He would definitely love Emi to be able to start, but UE has seen him up close and has deemed Olsen to be the better option for the team today. Let's not kid ourselves into thinking that this has been a choice between Olsen and the Martinez we know and love. Im sorry but even a 50% emi is better than olsen. He cant comannd his box , he panics and makes our defence panic because of this. Emi at least reassures and has composure. This is going to be a very long afternoon
Popular Post MaVilla
honestly, do you think Emi 1 wouldnt be playing if he was ready/fit? I can only assume he isnt actually fit/mentally ready or something, why do we automatically blame Emery for not picking him?, there must be a good reason!?!?
