Cruzeiro shows interest in Philippe Coutinho.

However, the player's staff is interested in his return to Vasco da Gama.

Brazilian sides can't afford him. Taking him on loan and covering his wages would cost £7m per year. If he agrees to a pay cut in same way he did when he joined Villa on Loan it might work. We still have to eat the £6.75m amortisation on our accounts each year. We will never get a fee for him so it's maybe a Loan this summer and then we can release him by mutual consent next summer and he finds a club.

Seems he had a really good game last outing, yesterday I think ( Just saw highlights on BEIN )

Scored and assisted, would have had more assists if the attackers around him weren't turd.

Some great through balls and skill.

Well that means he will be injured for the next 3 months now then.

We're not getting rid of him, are we?

We are, it will just mean we have to pay him to leave.

Hope it's true that would be 4-6mn more than you'd expect we'd get . Seems dubious given Vasco just ousted 777 as their owners?

January - March 2022, you just had to be there. That game where he just destroyed Leeds was one for the ages. Then he had the classic Villa drop-off, straight out of the Lambert era. 2 years later we are trying to offload him to Brazil after an unremarkable loan spell in Qatar. Football's a funny old game.

Just saw he was at the match last night, probably just wanted to meet Tom

Where did you see that?

Gerrard’s ethos was to hope for a “moment of magic”.

We signed a player capable of that and, funnily enough, it didn’t work.

This signing highlights Gerrard’s wankness as a manager.

The same 777 trying to buy Everton?
