To the people saying we need a DM such as Bissouma, who are we dropping should we have a fully fit squad?

Rotation. Forget the concept of 'dropping'.

I would imagine Douglas or Ramsey would miss out in a midfield three?

Ramsay/Sanson --------------------------------- McGinn/Douglas
-------------------------- Bissouma/Nakamba----------------------------

This is assuming you're playing a front 3 of Coutinho, Buendia and Watkins/Ings then?

So Bailey and Watkins/Ings misses out

I'm not knocking this btw, just intrigued.

Could Bailey play in a narrow front three?  If he can't he's going to be a major issue for SG due to the money we spent on him, his fitness is a concern anyway.

He has played as a striker, I don’t think it would be a problem tbf

I don't see a scenario where our brightest academy product since, well, you know who, is dropped.

Ramsey is likely to be a foundation of Gerrard's team.

Strange I can see precisely that scenario.

Did he happen to be good as a striker or in a narrower role? If not, then it's not saying much. There's a difference between just being able to plug a hole in a position and genuinely being good in it.

We could end the window with this line up.

Insane.

One thing we do is that we'll be playing the Xmas tree 4321 nearly every game. At least for the remainder of the season.

He’s always scored goals and been a talent, I think he may actually surprise a few people in more of a narrow role - we need to get him firing though. We need to get them all firing. Although we probably just need to get him to actually play first and foremost
