Whilst nobody should have to stop using social media because they are being attacked on it. I do think it’s a horrible thing and a person can free their mind if they stay off it. I’d like to discourage my kids from using it but it doesn’t help when the other half has to record a fart on Snapchat. If you are going to continue to do something that you know affects your mental health, then you need to adjust what you are doing. And no Alisha shouldn't have to be the one that changes but if it's getting to the point where she can't even perform properly then it needs to be cut out. Yeah, 'not being strong enough to take abuse' is no kind of argument. It should not be something you have to stomach. Comparing online abuse to a footballer receiving racist abuse at a football match is actually quite a terrible comparison. I was commenting on the acceptability of dealing out abuse, not the ability of the recipient to mute it.
