Popular Post OutByEaster? Posted May 10, 2021 Moderator Popular Post Share Posted May 10, 2021 Christ. Where are those quotes from? The 'football family' is Madrid and Barca in their heads isn't it? They consider those two clubs and their ten friends to be 'football' and the current threat to their hegemony by UEFA, FIFA and every other club on the planet is a baffling threat to the game. These clubs need to be brought down and when they are, it should be clearly explained to the fans of Madrid and Barca and whoever else needs it why they're being brought down, what football is and why the needs of a fan in Bolton or Lyon or Porto are equally important to the needs of a fan in Madrid or a bank manager in Switzerland. The "most appropriate solution for the sustainability of the whole football family" is to let Barca go bust and rebuild over the next ten or twenty years as an example of how not to run a football club and how to accept living within your means. The "most appropriate solution for the sustainability of the whole football family" is to then put in place financial regulation that lessens the power of money in football, even if that lessening of power is to the detriment of the biggest clubs.
OutByEaster? Posted May 10, 2021 Moderator Share Posted May 10, 2021 https://www.sportspromedia.com/news/super-league-real-madrid-barcelona-juventus-uefa-fine Quote Super League diehards Real Madrid, Barcelona and Juventus issue warning over Uefa sanctions European soccer body said it will take 'whatever action it deems appropriate' against clubs refusing to renounce breakaway. Throw the f***ing book at them. In the meantime, if people could stop watching El Classico that would be great thank you - and if you've got time to let the sponsors of Real and Barca and Juve know how you feel about it on social media, that'd be helpful too. sne
Quote Juventus risks Serie A removal because of Super League ROME (AP) — Juventus will be kicked out of Serie A if it doesn’t withdraw from the European Super League, Italian soccer federation president Gabriele Gravina said Monday. While AC Milan and Inter Milan backed out of the ill-fated bid to form a breakaway competition, Juventus remains the lone holdout in Italy. “The rules are clear. If Juventus is still part of the Super League when it enters next season, it can’t participate in Serie A,” Gravina told Naples radio station Kiss Kiss. “I would be sorry for the fans but rules are rules and they apply to everyone.”... https://apnews.com/article/serie-a-premier-league-europe-soccer-sports-4cbafa14b8c954200c62a05da9c448cc

Popular Post sidcow Posted May 11, 2021 VT Supporter Popular Post Share Posted May 11, 2021 I'm still of the opinion that I wish they would have all **** off. I'm sick of them, let them go play in their Hollywood league and leave our domestic leagues. We'll get on with making the best of what's left and Villa might be challenging for the English title every once in a while instead of praying to get 6th as a toe hold to go 4th. And add a cup of two on the way as well.

Would still probably be a lawsuit but more likely to win I guess.
