Him next to any of McGinn, Luiz or Sanson dramatically improves our midfield and makes us a real European contender. Linked quite heavily with Liverpool who almost certainly won't shell out the £55-60m for him unless they can make some sales. He joined them last year for £25m and 4 years on his contract. So you'd assume they want more than that for him but I really don't have a clue how Covid has impacted Lille. They had a great year last year but we all know how Covid has impacted Ligue Un, they could easily ask for £30-40m if they don't want or need to sell... or similarly if they're desperate for cash £20-25m may do it? Buendia much better than Traore. So we suffered a downgrade on the left but improved 2 other positions. Not to mention the added depth at on the bench to allow for more rotation.
