I was reading about him the other day as I didn’t know a great deal, I wasn’t aware of him playing Mark Twain and that it was regular role for him. It is a tricky one. I would not go on holiday, even though it was legal. I think it's stupid, selfish and reckless. Can I, hand on heart say that I would have turned down an all expenses paid trip of a lifetime when I know I'm in my final years? Probably not. It also shouldn't matter too much that he was old and willing to take the risk, because it's the risk he poses infecting others that is the main problem. But he was a man, not a saint, and I can't say I can judge him too harshly for it. I have no problems about judging the pricks at British Airways exploiting him to buy themselves some good publicity, on the other hand. Nice thing to do, perhaps.
