Just imagine a player sitting down with Purslow with him outlining the vision that our owners have and his agent saying "yeah but I'm not sure Villa are a big enough draw" - now we can trot out: Stevie G (one of the most well known midfielders in Europe in recent years), Emi (best keeper in South America and in the top handful in the world) and Coutinho (one of the biggest names in South American / world football). That's before you mention the current French left-back, Scotland's player of the year, regular internationals (Mings, Dougie, Bertie), players breaking into international teams (Ollie, Buendia) and the youth prospects coming through.
