Covid-19 and Football

Moyes and the two players didn't get the positive test results until they'd already travelled with the squad today, they apparently 'socially distanced' on the coaches, but by rights you'd have thought they would have postponed today's game to be on the safe side, as you can't be sure that none of the others players caught it whilst travelling.

Going to be a struggle to finish the season again. There were agreed rules this time on how it should be ended early so it is more likely than last season that it will be called off if the fixtures can’t be completed.

If we beat Fulham and they call it off we might have a chance of taking a Champions League spot on average points 😉

What I find astonishing is that Hull were offered a test, paid for by West Ham, and they refused. They'd rather risk having it and spreading it than not be able to play.

The Leyton Orient boss said something to the effect of preferring not to have tests again after last night too.

There is invariably going to be a delay at some point, which makes us having played less games even more frustrating.

That's good news for us as our game in hand is against Man City.  So average points works in our favour.

Midweek kick off times moved 15 mins earlier to accommodate pubs closing at 22:00 😁

Our match against Fulham on Monday is now at 17:45 so that the following game can start (without coverage overlapping, of course) at 20:00 and be over by closing time.

Haha I called this the other day.
Either government would defer closing time by 15 minutes or KO times would come forward 15 minutes.

This stinks.

in theory yes but Spurs did everything above board, they even paid for the tests. EFL obviously have to look into things but with the next round next week then was no other outcome
