That's one way of getting a winter break! Wtf is happening at that club. Surely if you just sent all of the players away they'd have been completely clear by now? It's becoming a very strange situation with teams at such different stages of their seasons and a couple 'gaming' the regulations to suit their own ends. the PL have cocked up massively. the rule stats that you only need to have 1 COVID case to be considered for a postponement so of course teams are using it to their advantage, especially in a transfer window and with AFCON currently going on. yeah it's a bit of a gamble for these teams down the bottom but it might mean that they know exactly what they need to do to stay up. they could have 3 games in hand, knowing that 6 points keeps them up, and just treats each one like its the final day of the season. i don't blame them for doing it. just annoyed that it's only happening now and not when we dropped those 2 points to brentford due to a weakened side 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I'd say they'll be forced to play 4 games in a week to get up to 37 games before the last day of the season. They don't have a big squad either so I'd say they are doomed.
