Yeah I remember many saying he was the best midfielder in Belgium when we signed Nakamba and then again in January when he went to Sheff U. He had a couple of really good games towards the end of last season. Looked solid today imo. Still adapting to the PL but he can become quite good. He was quite expensive though, wasn't it £20M+? I think Lundstram has a better engine, works harder and is more box to box, and gettable. It just feels way too simplistic to say that’s the solution. UTV Yeah I agree with you that we can get better than Lundstram, better quality. I was thinking of Lundstram as a solid work horse, like McGinn, and based on today's game, an upgrade on McGinn. We see someone, in this case Lundstram, who plays really well in a well-oiled system that they’ve been playing in for ages, and we wish they did that in our system. It just doesn’t work like that. I want rashica holding up that villa shirt this week and a CM would be okay but not essential if we bring grealish into the middle because then we remove hourihane from the equation.
