villabromsgrove Posted August 8, 2019 Share Posted August 8, 2019 Villa want Benrahma. Benrahma wants to come to Villa. Brentford want top dollar for a very good player. If the price is the only sticking point, surely some structured and attractive add ons to a fee in the middle of both valuations is what's currently being negotiated. If these add ons take the eventual fee up to Brentford's asking price then that should get the job done. Sam-AVFC Posted August 8, 2019 Share Posted August 8, 2019 (edited) I think he's got a lot of potential and could be a very good player, but I trust the club to make a better informed decision on whether there is a worthwhile deal to be had than the recently formed Cult of Benrahma. We'd have a problem if he performs exceptionally well in the next few months and then becomes a target for other clubs across Europe. We'd have then felt as if we had missed out.
