Very dirty, scrappy game. Not an amazing performance, but a very comfortable win. 3-1 flattered Forest.

I wrote us off weeks ago, and suddenly we're 2 points off the playoffs. Interesting.

Honorable mention for Lolley, who's the only Forest player that isn't shit.

Fantastic game of football. Brilliant performance from Villa, we dominated the game in large periods and defended very well in others.

McGinn and Grealish ran the midfield. Elmo and Taylor looked assured at full back. Mings and Hause were a class above as always.

Results have gone our way again.

Just to let you all know, Villa's going up!

Not a very memorable attacking performance, but a terrific result away from home. Very solid at the back, and McGinn stepped up when the rest of the bunch couldn’t quite get it done.

7 minutes of injury time away from home with absolutely no drama..... Nice.

I'm counting this as another clean sheet.  The goal was a pure fluke.

sums up how shite forest were tonight...offered nothing. but taking nothing away from us, midfield controlled the game. this was our 2nd cup final this week with 1 to go...how the **** are we 4 points of 5th?!! love it!

Mings motm, with McGinn very close second. Come 5pm Saturday we could be in top 6. Frank Lampards Derby are having their annual March collapse. 9 points from 3 tough games, 2 away from home. Looking better

Players who couldn't pass now can because of Grealish. That said, not particularly pretty on this occasion, but certainly clinical, hardworking and resolute, as epitomised by MoM John McGinn. Capped off by yet another commanding performance from Mings. How very pleasing.
