Mings will be playing PL level football until he's at least 35. The man is an absolute machine.

Same goes for Carlos for that matter.

I have no doubt he can play for 5 more years at a PL centre back.

He has a career before joining us.

so does mings, which goes to prove that performances prior to joining us mean nothing. carlos doesn't even have a PL record before joining us

he might be great...but i'd be very disappointed to see him take mings' place in the team when he comes back

whatever you think of him, there's no denying his impact on the team when he's playing

at the moment chambers is our 4th choice CB. ty should 100% get a new contract and we know we're in a good place when HE becomes our 3rd/4th choice CB due to natural improvements in the squad. at the moment the mings - chambers gap is too large but if we let him go then we're in the same position with whomever we sign to replace him, even if it's with a decent player, because we're still stuck with chambers were they to get injured.

Nice!

No idea if Carlos will be back to full form again after that injury or if we'll be able to find the new CB we look for. Great to have Mings in the squad.

Hope he's fit for the Arsenal game as the drop off in quality below him is just sad.
