Well done to Rafa Benitez for getting the reigning European Champions knocked out in the group stage and winning Europe's B competition. Italian clubs don't really care about the Coppa. He also finished 5th with Napoli, which was absolutely shocking when the squad he had should've been competing for the title. Getting promoted from the Championship is about the best achievement he's done. And even then he did it with a Premier League side that he somehow managed to get relegated. It seems like because people don't like Ashley, they like Rafa because he was a bit open against him. Same with this myth that he was treated badly at Chelsea and actually did a great job. His win % was the same as RDM and Scolari, who were shocking managers. Biggest fraud in football. Not saying Bruce is a better manager, but Bruce will get a better points total up there than Rafa ever did. Quote me on it. If they lost 10 out of 10, then yeah he’d more than likely have been sacked. If it was 7 draws and 3 defeats, then I think he’d still be safe. It was the same thing we did but we eventually conceded in the 86' min. Newcastle just got lucky.
