Norwich game may be make or break for Mikel Arteta.

They will likely get pounded by City next weekend, if they were somehow able to **** the Norwich game up it would be 0 from 4 and he'd be under massive pressure.

Delicious.

Would Conte fix Arsenal?

1st season improvement

2nd season: do very well, probably qualify for CL

3rd season: leave a trail of destruction and unhappy players. They are back to same position and a lot poorer.

Arsenal need to build and do it properly with a long term manager. They've tried with Arteta but he is just too inexperienced imo.

Ironically when Pochetino inevitably gets sacked he would be a good shout and the most suitable.

It's a mystery to me why Arsenal who've finished in the top eight in the last two seasons, won an FA Cup and have been one of most in form teams this year, would sack Arteta to replace him with Potter, a manager who's barely improved Brighton from when they had Hughton despite the money they've had to spend.

Probably not the most useful stat but I found it interesting nonetheless.

You know it's bad when your manager is breaking negative records.

I remember Lambert doing this as well

Since he was appointed only Spurs, Chelsea, Man Utd, Liverpool and Manchester City have picked up more points, and he's also won them an FA Cup and Community Shield. Maybe that's a crisis by their standards, nevermind comparing them to us in the latter Lerner years, if we achieved that people would be wanting a statue of Smith built.

They had a good run at the end of the season. But seems the fans are just waiting for a chance to turn.

Man City next isn't it? 😁

So, 6th. 1 point above Everton (game in hand), 3 points above Leicester, and 7 pointd above West Ham (who have a game in hand...) over those games. Do you think that'd have been considered success when he was appointed?

I'm pretty confident Everton will be added to that list by this time next week :D

Sixth best team isn't bad form, and not sure Arsenal can expect much better at the moment, the way people are going on about the bad job Arteta is doing you'd think they'd have performed much worse.

Second from bottom and Man Citeh up next.  Oops.

Would be hilarious if Norwich managed to get something at Leicester next week.
