Two season ago with just one game left to play Forest were in the play-off places, with a three point advantage over Swansea and better goal difference by five goals, but they still somehow managed to allow Swansea to overtake them on the last day after they lost 4-1 at home to Stoke and Swansea beat Reading by the same scoreline. At least this time they're guaranteed a place in the play-offs no matter what.

so i assume, Forest could best Bournemouth, but still not make top 2 if the GD swung against them? (if Bournemouth win all other games).

Will be minimum of + 3 difference if Forest win so Bournemouth would have to win 4 or 5 nil on final day if Forest also win that so very much in Forest's hands imo.

Forest probably have the easier last day game as well. Millwall have a slim playoff hope

Luton taking quite a beating away to Fulham, a win would have guaranteed them a place in the play-offs. Will now need to beat Reading at the weekend, or hope other results go their way, and also hope that today hasn't affected their confidence too much.

I absolutely love the idea of Kenilworth Road as a Premier League ground.

surely there's a minimum criteria to be a PL ground and that wouldn't meet it?

Filbert Street was like that when Leicester played there, so probably not.  It’s fun to see weird stadiums too.

There doesn't seem to be a "mustn't be a desolate shithole" requirement.

Hope Luton don't miss out on GD after that! Forest autos and them up via the playoffs would be the most interesting result.

Reading at home, should be alright with that. Poor team who've just scraped survival so rather have that than Boro going to Preston or Millwall having to win at Bournemouth.

I assume they have loads of injuries as didn't think Lansbury and Snodgrass were regulars but both started today v Fulham who exposed their lack of pace and mobility big time.

Imagine them coming up and those two starting in an actual prem game next season....Jedinak will want to come out of retirement!

Thats more than the old Whittingham record right?

Ya, he broke the record.

It's unbelievable.

He has scored 40% of their goals but he's not quite at it at PL level. And either is their manager. They have some planning to do.

43 goals in 43 games for Mitrovic in the Champ.

Whatever you think of him as a player (quality wise), 1 goal a game, over 43 games........that nuts......

Luton are gash lost 3 nil and 5 nil to blose. That alone is reason why dont want them up

Yes but Dem imagine next season where Blose don't get those six points, could make all the difference.

If Luton beat Reading at home on the last day then they will finish on 75 points, just one less point than we finished with in our promotion season, so they can't be that bad.
