I would have imagined that we were loaning him out for six months to get him match fit and sharp so that he could be bought back into the fold for the second half of the season/January when we lose players to the ACON. Im hoping that it was something like us being after Hernandez and Kodjia both being wanted, but with Hernandez being a dick, we have now decided to go with Kodjia and RHM. Mail reported it was linked to contract extensions being signed, as with the case of some of the others. Hope there is nothing in that tbh. Dont want to see a talented kid leave without a chance. Very happy he was on the bench at last but the 5 mins or so he was on the pitch I was really impressed. Full of energy and willingness to run at the Newcastle defence. Can't knock his energy and enthusiasm but he was a total headless chicken, perhaps too keen to impress. Definitely needs to bulk up too as there was one moment where he had the chance to run into space with the ball but got muscled off far too easily. Personally I thought that was a foul but yes, he did look a bit like a child amongst men and was knocked over really easily. Welcome to the championship son! he will come good though.
