Not that it matters, Riley is a dead duck - even if he's a genius, he's not important enough not to throw under the bus - when you have a Chief Scout that's achieved a level of infamy like he has, and you're a new chairman, you don't side with the scout, you side with the 30,000 people that are going to be your key customer base. I think it is fair to say, he is no genius. He is a very fortunate young man who has made one or two lucky strikes that have gained him credibility from an hierarchy that like himself is questionable whether they should ever have been there. its been a catalogue of errors, poor appointments and charlatans masquerading as football people in an industry that is so awash with money it is attracting everybody and his grandmother.
