Claiming he might be immune, against something he is currently infected with and being treated against :D

He was visibly winded and short of breath after walking up the stairs to the White House coming back from the hospital.

He is a lunatic,  all he had to say was "It's a terrible disease,  thanks to the Doc's.  Please wear a mask everyone,  this is not to be messed with etc"

He say's the complete opposite.

The worst thing about this is that the timings are all off.

The normal person gets tested WHEN they have symptoms (so the stage Trump is at now) and then the symptoms develop over the next few days.

However, Trump will be likely have been tested 3 times a day, every day so it's still a very early stage. So he went to hospital for the early symptoms; he isn't getting better, he's getting worse.

That isn't the only possible scenario.

Notice yesterday that the press kept asking the doctor when Trump's last negative test was? There is a scenario where he wasn't tested as regularly as people imagine he would be and another where he was tested, knew he had it and carried on regardless... maskless

One thing that does amuse me though is the pure hatred they have for him on CNN.  Not hidden in anyway and the have 4 way Zoom's where everyone just tries to hate him more than the other participant.

They F******ing hate the man.

Simply telling the truth about this moron can come across as hate I suppose. It’s not, it’s just the truth. Something Trump and his followers seem to have trouble with.

The most worrying thing about Trumps comments, is that there are millions and millions of Americans who will genuinely lap it up.

And hopefully millions more who are starting to have their eyes opened.

As understandable as it is to hate him, the problem is that Trump can then use it to make them seem like the left-wing version of Fox News (which they clearly aren't) and the enemy of his followers, which then means they watch more Fox News and get even more brainwashed by his shite.

Hopefully when the whole edifice comes crashing down, Fox News will be part of the rubble. They’ve nailed their colours to his mast so tightly, when he goes, so does their credibility.

It won't because unfortunately the viewers that give it credibility will not care at all.

Its a cult over there.

Fwiw the average flu deaths/year in the US is no where near 100.000 a year. 17/18 was bad with an estimated 46k-95k dead but other than that most years are between 11k-65k with an average of about maybe 35k a year in the last 10 years. According to their CDC.

The US has had about 210,000 deaths so far, outside of flu season and with a lot of social distancing, lockdown measures and mask wearing.

It feels like he’s trying to wind that sort of thing back which will almost certainly send the numbers through the roof.

The one part of that tweet that *is* correct is 'flu season is coming up!' You might think that would spark some introspection about to what extent they are actually prepared, as a country, for the difficulties that 'COVID meets flu season' might actually cause, but of course not. He's not planning to *do anything to mitigate it*, he'd just like everyone to talk about another issue, any other issue, on which he isn't tanking with the voters (and please don't notice him wheezing around while you're at it).

Theres no redeeming feature to him. He's everything bad about everything you can associate him with. It's like all the worst features of humanity embodied. A blowhard, self righteous, preening narcissistic ugly fat lying racist anti intellectual imbecile.

The grave can't come quick enough.

and a billionaire who loves his country that only pays around $750 a year in federal tax.
How on Earth do the people of America not see through him? The religious bullshit is laughable, but they lap it up.

The religious nuts know exactly what he is. But he's the lesser evil of getting the things they want.

That what many of them want is the end of the world doesn't seem to factor.

The important thing to remember is the mortality rates with regards to normal flu and Covid. Covid is many times more deadly. He, as the President, has undoubtedly received the best care available, others may not be so lucky. But then the fact they are “others” means he doesn’t give a f***k.

He has proven, yet again, that a winning mentality will triumph over anything.

The proven living embodiment of the American dream.

Catnip to the suicidally stupid.

Plus of course, the best the opposition could put up, was a 77 year old that can’t remember all his words and looks very much like covid would kill him.
