villalad21
It's just the end of a cycle. Same thing happened at Spurs and Pochettino. They need new ideas.
useless
People getting carried away, when all their defenders return to fitness, and if they keep their best players in the summer, and perhaps make a few signings, they will be back to be being at least the second best team in the league next season. Any team would struggle if their injury crisis was so bad that they had to play U23 players in defence, or players out of position in defence. If some of their players are due back from injury would nae surprise if they put a run together at some point this season and still got top four.
Popular Post useless
Also after sixteen games we were the only team to have beaten them and they were top of the table. So this idea that they weren't very good when we got our win against them doesn ring true, before playing us they'd just beat Leeds, Arsenal and Chelsea, their first three games of the season, and didn't lose again in the league for another thirteen games, in fact we were the only team to beat them in the league this season before January.

Yes people are very quick to write off players and teams. We had the same conversation about Bale a couple of weeks ago. it might be the end of the road but its too soon to write off Klopp and the players that have been so good for three seasons. Popular Post OutByEaster? Posted March 8, 2021 Moderator Popular Post Share Posted March 8, 2021 I think in part, we're entering a good period for the league where the same teams won't finish in the top two or three places year after year after year. Chelsea are excellent, Liverpool can be, Utd are good, Citeh are Citeh, Leicester aren't going away and then you have the likes of Everton that can take points off anyone and then Spurs and Arsenal who will be looking to be better, along with ambitious sides like us and maybe Wolves, West Ham or Leeds. I don't think anyone can go into next season feeling absolutely comfortable that they'll finish in the top 4 or even to some extent in the top 6. If we can get involved in that, all the better, the more teams that can have an impact, the more random it becomes as teams take points out of each other. Liverpool's demise is due to a number of factors, injuries, form, key players looking like they don't get on, the pandemic and so on, but I think it's also in part down to a stronger division. If we can prevent the 'big six' changing the rules, then I think we're headed into a golden period of Premier league football.

It's funny I have mates who support Spurs, Arsenal and Liverpool and they're all talking about how 'footballs dead without fans' 'whole season should have an * next to it' Nothing to do with the fact their are 12 teams now who could all make a case for European football and their are less teams for you to run over is it?

I don't think anyone really has a problem with Liverpool when considering the team alone. In fact, they were the standard bearers when I was growing up. But the fans. Absolute cocks. By far and away the most hypocritical, exaggerating, idiotic, delusional assortment in world football. Excused the behaviour of racists and thugs time and again. But will also continually behave this way.

Almost trying to show they aren’t in it for the money by rejecting the offer.
OutByEaster? Posted April 25, 2021 Moderator Share Posted April 25, 2021 UEFA needs to be putting pressure on the group of owners that did this to sell up. If it's legal I'd love to see them withhold merit payments in trust to be awarded to the club once the ownership has changed.

From what I've heard for years, they are massively all about the money, apparently some of the greediest people in football.
