The_Rev
London never ceases to delight me. My job has taken me to London on a daily basis for about fifteen years and the more I go there the more the size of the place blows my mind. Two or three years ago I decided to explore the place a bit, I'd done the dozen or so things most people do between Marble Arch and Tower Bridge ten times over but there's so much more off the beaten track. I managed to get to this place in Walthamstow today. Been meaning to do it for a while. It's a shrine to neon. You can buy food and drink there if you want but the point of the place seems to be that the guy who runs it just happens to think it's cool. I adore that mentality.

You might be interested in this place ive not made it over yet but a museum with a cocktail bar has to be worth a visit The Museum will present an incoherent vision of the world displayed through wonder enclosed within a tiny space, no attempt is made at classification and comprehensiveness, instead the museum focuses on the pre-enlightenment origins of the museum as Wunderkabinett

I used to deal with a man who's name was Mr A R Saul. I am sure he used the middle initial all the time deliberately to enhance the joke because his wife always referred to herself as Lavender R Saul. Also had a client called Dr Love. The first time I had to call him I had to hang up the phone halfway through dialling about a dozen times. I just kept envisioning myself asking to speak to Dr Love and would breakout in a fit of giggles. I was crying with laughter at one point.

Popular Post Xela
Listening to Oasis. I know they're not the most liked on here but they were the defining band of my era in the mid 90's when I was leaving school and starting college. Absolutely brilliant.

My brother who is 6.5 years older than me was a huge fan. He was at high school when they went BIG. So listening almost any Oasis tune just reminds me of waking up on a sunny morning at my mom and dads old house in the 90s. Probably something like Supersonic, Fade Away, D'you know what I mean? She's electric or All around the world etc. Happy, care free times. Me in my little school uniform, eating a bowl of Frosties

V01
I usually take the nipper for a Mcdonalds after she does self defence on a Wednesday, this week I convinced her to try KFC instead. To top it off she asked to swap her popcorn chicken for my fries, SOLD! It was tempered by her stealing my gravy though.

I'm not sure what the equivalent would be for kids that age now, I doubt it's a couple of English indie bands who write their own tunes.

Only time I have ever been that keen to get my hands on an album. Most of my listening is from the 60s and 70s but oasis are probably the only band growing up that for a while I genuinely looked forward to the release of their albums. I started losing interest after heathen chemistry, but for me things started going downhill after be here now although standing on the shoulder of giants is good. I had their Wembley gig on cd and DVD and I also remember paying for their pay per view gig at the Glasgow barrowlands. Noel is one of the coolest people on the planet and Liam, well, is just Liam.
villa4europe
a reunion will surely disappoint! one thing for sure i'll be getting first night tickets...liam will be a mess on the 2nd the amazing thing for me is when you start throwing in all the b sides, all the album tracks that ended up being really underrated, they've got a brilliant discography
