My car not passing its MOT, but not costing me as much as anticipated.

Well, mine failed first as well! I had put aside £500 but cost me half that.

Mine cost me £140, and like yourself, I was expecting a lot more.

Just collected my car from the garage. Thought the CV joint had failed and it could be a couple of hundred quid.

Garage said it was just the strut tops which would last a lot longer yet if I was OK with the noise. Wouldn't even charge me for the time.

Going to change the car in the next few months anyway. Top banana.

After 10 years on the road ground sharing all over the place, my local team Horsham just got planning permission for a new ground.  Pretty emotional scenes :)

King and Barnes Ale used to make me happy.

I've just accidentally text my Mrs that I have been drying dicks under the hand dryer at work.

There's a lovely image for her to wake up to.

Yeah, I'm still trying to figure out what that should have said that would have appeared normal.

Well its not particuarly normal but I got drenched this morning on my way to work, and with no spare ones I had to dry my socks under the hand dryer in the changing room.

There used to be a Mustapha Turkey at my office.

I'd like to have been a fly on the wall at the butcher's when he was doing his Christmas order.

The Reverend Spooner was highly irritated when his wife cooked his sock, as requested.

I went through a phase of spoonerising everything as a kid. Then my mum got us some new cereal as a treat. Country Crisp put an end to such wordplay.

I'm always at it.  Playing with words.  I've always just liked vocabulary in general, but sometimes my messing inadvertently spills over into normal everyday conversation.  I remember having some traffic-related conversation with a colleague where, before I even knew it, I had referred to a roundamebout.

Exactly how are pronunning this word? Round-a-mebout? Roun-dame-bout? Roun-dammy-bout?
