Genie
I don’t think I’ve had more than 2 or 3 drinks in 1 session for about a year. I’ll be shit faced first time I have a proper night out.

So we changed to SAP / changed finance system and implemented a new Warehouse management system (The big bang at work if ever I saw one ), all over the last weekend with 9 months preparation work and 14 hour days for the last week at stake. During the Pandemic. @ 11PM last night we got the first Pick list. We have (site where I work) approx. 20-40 a day, 40 ton Lorries in and out every day so it had to work. I loaded all the stock yesterday (8.5 Million individual items) - 37 k different items.) over 3 different sites into SAP. It's working....on Pallet 55 now. We do 100's and 100's of pallets a day but if 55 work, logically 550 will work as its all or nothing with Picks lists. It's been so tough, I didn't even know SAP 9 months ago. I am so happy. Congratulations mate. My experience of SAP stopped in 2001 when I left Lyreco inTelford and it was a bitch then. Hell of achievement virtual glass clink.
Popular Post Mandy Lifeboats
I am sitting in my office with the heating on full and all the windows open. I have the winter breeze on my face but the office is so warm that I am sitting here happily in my shirt sleeves. I have my feet up on a footstool and I am sipping a nice Vanilla Latte. Birds are feeding happily on the bird feeders which I place in the old tree that’s directly outside the window. I have the delightful sound of the sparrows squabbling over the food and the occasional chirp of a robin. But the most satisfying sound is one of the cleaners banging on the lift door because she has been stuck in there for over an hour. I hate that woman. 2

Do you know Preston market? I've just found out this amazing mural (well it's amazing if you're a Beach Boys nut) has been painted there).

Can’t be doing with the hustle and bustle of late nights. Beer gardens, sun shining, getting progressively more pissed by the pint. I'm only a binge drinker anyway ( I've had about one can of beer in about the last 6 months ) so mine will be a Friday to Sunday bender somewhere up in London with a few mates

HanoiVillan
Tomorrow, normal people will be able to watch James Anderson bowl on normal people's television for the first time since 2004 . . . Something that makes me very happy, leavened a bit by remembering what a waste of the last 17 years it has been.

A - frankly, nightmarish - diametric opposite to my drinking routine. yeah, this conversation crops up from time to time . It's just for me the idea of coming home from work and kicking back in front of the TV with a beer or glass of wine just seems a bit alien .... likewise with dinner , I'd rather have a PepsiMax with it than a beer /wine It might be as I was always sporty when I was younger, so invariably I'd come home from work and go out to play squash , football go for a run etc and so the notion of drinking at home wasn't on my radar . For me there is nothing nightmarish about going on a pub crawl with mates , it's just an informal schedule, and we kinda kick back in the sunshine , look at pretty women walking by , tell stupid jokes , laugh at the same old things , watch some sport and then find a bar with some live music until the early hours of morning .. I'll never tire of that ,hopefully !! Throw abroad into the mix, and you get the same vibe just with a bit of additional culture thrown in ... the experience of a pub crawl around Transnistria whilst learning about the civil war and looking at pretty women , followed by watching FC Zimbru Chişinău , followed by some mosh pitting to a Moldovan band and drinking cocktails in a local park at 4 am ... I get it's not everyone's bag , but I just love it .. a glass of wine as I watch bake off just doesn't do it for me Edited February 5, 2021 by tonyh29

chrisp65
Yep, I bought a fair bit of booze at Christmas for what I thought would be a family get together. It didn’t happen. So the vast majority of the beer and wine is still just sat there. It’s rare I’d just have a beer or a glass of wine in the house. But by the same token, I’m actively planning a future pub crawl!
