For example, I was looking forward to a Chinese takeaway the other night only to be disappointed it was closed; my disappointment didn’t extend to being furious and it didn’t stop me from enjoying an Indian takeaway alternative. It’s understandable that Jack had prepared himself for Villa to cash in on him, leading to him having to leave his boyhood club with the massive consolation of playing at a higher level and a large pay rise.
