Incredible stuff this afternoon! Buzzing for those that went for free. Thought YJB spoke really well after the game, basically sticking up for Root when asked about how it must feel much better under the new regime.

Definite shades of how we suddenly started going big in white ball cricket in 2015 in that post tea session.

Im off to Amsterdam on Friday for the ODI, hope it’s anywhere near as exciting as today!

Looks a cracking day out.  Wish I'd gone.

Great day yesterday. So close to 500! Think the organisers underestimated the thirst of the travelling fans though, not many bars and VP esque speed of service. Buttler is something else and Livingstone is an absolute animal as a finisher!

Did they have a women's match on before and leave the boundaries in?  Trent Bridge is small enough but they still brought the boundary in a mile.

They didn’t. But the pitch was on the edge of the square and they brought the boundary in to make the field shape less lopsided (and small).

Cant understand why Sam  Hain is not being considered for either an odi place or t20 cricket for England. Hes obviously qualified to play for England. His record at domestic level is phenominal.

Great t-20 at the oval tonight , Surrey need 36 off the last 3 overs …. Got it down to 4 runs required with 3 balls left , lost 2 wickets in 2 balls , number 9 came in facing the hat trick ball and banged it away for 4

still unbeaten this season

To be fair, England's limited overs batting options are such they could feasibly leave out about 4 or 5 outstanding batters from a World Cup squad who would walk into most international sides.

Blundell gone for 55 but that bastard Mitchell is on his way to another ton.

Doesn't matter who we play, there always seems to be one player in the form of his life.

Even more frustrating when you’ve got him out twice but fecked it (not reviewing a plum delivery and a dropped catch)
