Boult bowled really well with the second new ball and Bracewell for a part time spinner extracted some extravagent turn and bounce out of the wicket. Time for Leach to step up. Good point but both teams have gone along at around 4 an over throughout the match so I don’t think there was a particular need to accelerate it further. Very entertaining. In two minds about Stokes' innings, that drive helped to push the scoring on to a point where we do give ourselves at least an outside chance of an England win, whereas otherwise it would have been only draw or a nz win, on the other hand, he didn't need to smack every ball in an over for 6 Root and Pope were fantastic and Lees did well, he'll be gutted to have lost the wicket after the drinks break, but he seems to be improving game by game, I'm happy for him to carry on there. His fellow opener mind can sod off.
