It has to be some mechanical failure, or a deliberate act.

There were apparently 2 local pilots on board plus of course the captain abd senior officers.

It's hard to believe that much expertise amongst so many people didn't realise they weren't in the middle of the channel.

The crew issued a mayday signal which alerted the traffic controllers that the ship was having a mechanical failure. The traffic controllers were then able to stop traffic approaching the bridge, but there were 7 cars that had already gone too far.

Last time I saw something collapse like that, McGinn was involved.

Biden about to do a presser - he will waffle on about a tunnel in San Diego and have no idea what's going on.

You would expect them to delay the departure if it was that bad.

Again you have local pilots on board familiar with local conditions to guide these ships out.

They should know when weather is too bad to safely navigate.

Ship lost power apparently

Does anyone watch these auditing vids on youtube.

People go round industrial estates and police stations with camera's and drones and film the reaction of the people inside.

Some of them go into proper meltdown...

I don't fully understand the point of them.  Just words removed being words removed?
