Leicester will be fine.

They are in good hands.

True, he’s a relegation specialist!

Leicester REALLY needed to win one of either Leeds or Everton. A draw in either by itself would have been ok, but both kinda killed it.

I think on balance they have the worst fixtures left. It’s a close call though. A win against West Ham is all I can see. 33.

Everton I think have the easier run in. Man City, a defeat likely there, of course. Point away at Wolves maybe, a win at home to Bournemouth. Possibly two draws will be enough. 34.

Forest, a draw against Chelsea would be a big step. Loss to Arsenal, draw v Palace. 35.

Leeds, I will assume lose to Newcastle. A win away at West Ham would likely be required. Then Spurs home. I don’t know. 33. Not at all convinced they will win at Big Sam’s London reunion party.

Everton’s and Leed’s goal difference is -21 and -25 respectively. Everton could do without being hammered by City.

Everton play  City 3 days before the Real  Madrid 2nd leg,  I would not be at all surprised if they get a point from that game

Feels like Leicester have had it now. They’ve completely wasted all their winnable games.

The weird thing as well especially from what I saw against Everton is they played like a side not in any danger at all. The was a complete lack of urgency and energy that it almost felt like it hadn’t dawned on the players that a win would have made them almost safe.

How does that work? He's gotten relegated just once in his whole career? If anything, you can say he's a survival specialist, having kept up Walsall twice and Villa once.

if he gets Leicester relegated then, that 2 relegations and 3 "kept you up's".

Does that then make him a relegation mediocritist?

Leicester going down is insane, making them only the second PL winner to get relegated. A huge fall from grace.

Lockdown smashed them to pieces, they did rely on selling one big player per season - but sales dried up as their wage bill increased as they attempted to stay strong. Rodgers also made some weird signings that weren’t really the sort expected of Leicester, Bertrand on a free for example. And although Schmeichel was on the downturn, letting him go seemed odd.

6 games wont be the relegation on him

Would be like crediting Gerrard for our top 8 position😂

Very true. It's hard to put your finger on exactly what's gone wrong there but that's certainly one of them. That team on paper shouldn't be where they are.

Before tonight I’d have put my house on Forest going, but this result is huge.

I've been dismissive about the job Cooper has been doing this season, but if they stay up it will have been an incredible job he's done.

Absolutely. When you consider all the players they signed it’s incredible really. Chelsea have shown that the scatter gun approach rarely works.

Its incredible a team with maddison barnes tielsmann vardy inichaneio (sp?l) is going to go down

Agreed. Leicester, unlike Everton and Leeds, have a carcass worth picking at if they go down. Maddison, Barnes and Tielemanns shouldn’t be in a team that gets relegated.
