We don't have that with Mcginn on the pitch. Ings isn't involved and Watkins great hold up play from the weekend isn't there tonight. We've defended well and done our job though. McGinn can’t play through a press, no way. Would like to see Bailey come on in the second half.
Demitri_C
Dreadful 45 minutes I do think utd are here for the taking if we being on bailey and buendia
TheAuthority Posted November 10, 2022 VT Supporter Share Posted November 10, 2022 Maguire just looks so ungainly with the ball at his feet. Looks like a rugby union player who's filling in for the dads against the boys under 12's
Rightdm00
I love it. Completely frustrated them at their own place. They look toothless in attack. 15 minutes in I would go bailey for McGinn and archer for Ings and go for the win.
StewieGriffin
Amazing what a bit of coaching can do - the step up in composure, organisation and awareness is quite something.
Zero7
Doing ok, a few too many sloppy passes and we have frustrated them with our B team

It's Your Round
It’s unsurprising that this game is disjointed. So much rotation will have that effect. We’ve looked ropey playing out from the back, manure’s pressing has been good whereas Olsen’s foot work, not so. We are lacking some width especially on the left hand side, meaning the ball comes back inside a lot where it’s too congested. The good news is we’re not behind. I’m keen to see what Emery does for the second half. We’ve not been great but neither have United, we can still win this. Lastly, I hate Maguire. tomav84 Posted November 10, 2022 VT Supporter Share Posted November 10, 2022 its not often that you can be that poor in a first half and come in level at the break. we should consider ourselves very lucky
LondonLax
We have frustrated them. Unfortunately we have not been able to put much together ourselves either.
bose
Think we’re fine. We have Buendia and Bailey to spice things up when they get tired.
MCU
Quite clear we are frustrating them. Need to stop giving the ball away so cheaply though, they’ve been just as bad.
VillaAlex
Emery at Villarreal surrendered possession and dragged the tempo way down in Europe. Feels very similar here.

M_Afro
I actually enjoyed that. Tactically we have been spot on. They look fairly devoid of ideas and we are growing into the game.

penguin
RedCafe is full of posts complaining about the ref. Shows that the blatant favourable treatment they’ve had for so long has completely distorted any idea of what a fair game should look like. Ref has been poor, certainly not favouring us.
Awol
Came on to slate Fernandes but that work’s already been done. What a little rat.
