Unbelievable team performance, players in space wanting the ball, shooting at the goal! Bailey was a real handful , Watkins was back to his first season form. I just can't believe what 5 days in training and a match plan has done to us.

You can still see some old trates creeping back into our play but my god we aren't going to be in a relegation battle now, give us a few months and we should see what the next few seasons hold for us. UTV

Incredible. I think our last win at home against them was my first ever league game at Villa Park, the famous 3-1 with Hansons "you'll never win anything with kids" comment on MOTD. 

As it was my first ever game I just assumed we would beat United and teams like them all the time ... little did I know what the next 25 years had in store.

Absolute dream start for Unai, 1st game in charge & beating a team at home we could never beat , also that’s us scored 7 goals since Gerrard the fraud left , just proves we do have good players & he was a rotten manager.

What a match!!!  So much to digest, but you can tell for the first time in a very long time that we're now being led by a very capable manager.  Can't wait to see how we'll finish this season!  

Man of the Match:

• Martinez - So many good performances all around, but Emi had a blinder today.  Deflection aside, nothing was getting past him.

Honorable mentions: 

• Ramsey - Probably had the most complete performance he's ever put in at this level.  Was immense and everywhere on the pitch today.  Goal, assist, and defensively sound.  
• Bailey - Wow...  What a player.  He's someone who opens up the entire pitch for this teammates when he has the ball at his feet.  Never stopped running today.  
• Mings - When he is at his best, he is one of the best CBs in England.  Today he put Ronaldo in his pocket...
