Fulham is must win. Do we go with the same XI and hope for a repeat performance of that first half? Probably but football doesnt work that way. We are just a miserable football club im still pissed off all the momentum built under Jack and Deano has been stolen from us. How long have we suffered as a fanbase just to do that multiyear rebuild just to get back to a certain level only for City to keep taking our best and knocking us down again. We still haven’t recovered.

First 60 minutes bar the Mings freak error was the best football we have played all season.

What it proved was the problem this team has had, which is a lack of runners. You play 2 narrow 10's with your central midfielders covering your fullbacks, then who the f*** is going to run from deep and break the lines?

So to come back from 2 down he takes off two runners (the best runners with the ball at their feet in the team) and replace them with Buendia who is constantly dropping deep, and the static Coutinho and turn to a 442, so we are now outnumbered in midfield.

Gerrard is a tactical numpty!

Did anyone see the owners? Even they’re too bored by our football to attend.

They were there but not picked up by the Sky cameras. They definitely weren’t sitting next to Larry or Lange. Is Larry setting up Lange for the fall guy in this whole farcical project. Sacks Lange and keeps his pal. A frightening thought but it doesn’t explain where NSWE we’re?

Not to pick on your posts chap but tactics were good? His lack of adapting to Potters change of plan second half and his usual clueless Hail Mary subs changed the game for the worse lol.

We should have been ahead at Half time and when it was 2-0  the game was gone anyway.

What are you on about we were 2-0 down when he made subs. Yes he could have changed things earlier but we were still creating chances

We should have been ahead of half time.

They scored and we didn’t. So we weren’t.

Not just who can run between the lines from deep but who is in midfield at that point? Only the number 6.

The main thing I have to say about that match is I picked up an awful lot of leaves instead of watching it. Having an oak tree in the garden is great for most of the year, but autumn is a real pain!

Sounds like a blessing in this case

I hope that the two votes for Mings as MOTM are sarcastic!

With Southgate there to watch his mistakes, you have to believe that he just ruined his chances of going to the World Cup.

He wasn't going anyway.

We can play half decent all we like but making errors at this level will cost us dear. Again no points.

The positives: we clearly have enough talent that if coached well, with a few tweaks, some confidence and January additions we can be a decent side. The problem is the manager, that’s a really easy fix.
